Living Flame Ministries is a ministry with a two-fold vision: to win the lost and to pursue a revival for our generation. LFM has sought to fulfill its mandate by hosting miracle services, prophetic encounters, youth revivals, teaching seminars, and prayer meetings. The ministry has also pulished books, produced DVD ministry videos, and is very active in supporting various church events. The Ministry's latest endeavor is the production of a new television program, "Encounter".

LFM is a member of Praise Chapel Christian Fellowship of Churches and Ministries International. LFM is overseen by a board of directors. The board members are pastors and leaders who come from PCCFCMI, and they keep the ministry accountable in its spiritual and financial dealings.

LFM Miracle Service Audio Recording

^ This is an audio recording of David Hernandez Jr. ministering at an LFM miracle service. That night, the atmosphere was charged with God's power and glory. Principal Directors
Angel and Desiree Flores are the youth leaders of Fresh Fire Youth, the youth ministry of Praise Chapel Paramount. They are the principal directors of Living Flame Ministries.

Board Member/ Board Secretary
Pastor David and Sister Esther Hernandez are the loving parents of David Hernandez Jr., and co-pastor Praise Chapel Paramount. David senior is a ministry board member, and Esther is the ministry board secretary.

Board Members
Pastor Danny and Sister Linda Mancha are the grandparents of David Jr. They were missionaries to Russia and are currenty assistant pastors at Praise Chapel Huntington Park. Pastor Danny is a ministry board member.

Pastor Omar and Sister Letty Lopez are the spiritual guidance and pastoral headship in David Jr's life. They are the senior pastors of Praise Chapel Paramount. Pastor Omar is a ministry board member.

Pastor Eddie and Sister Roxanne Vargas are the pastors of Praise Chapel Redondo Beach. They were used by the Lord to launch the evangelistic and preaching ministry of David Jr. Pastor Eddie is a ministry board member, a ministry event advisor, and an active spiritual guidance in David Jr's life.

Robert and Karly Santiago are close friends of David Jr. and effective youth and young adult ministry leaders at Praise Chapel Paramount. Rob and Karly are both influential voices within the operations of Living Flame Ministries. Rob is a teacher at Paramount Bible Institute, a BIOLA University graduate, and a ministry board member.

Gabriel Parra is a close friend of David Jr. and a multi-faceted team member of Living Flame Ministries . Gabriel accompanies David on all ministry ventures and performs many important tasks. Some of those tasks include coordinating ministry events, scheduling David's ministry dates, providing worship music at several ministry events, meeting with new ministry contacts, and various other forms of ministry administration.

It's been a while since I've last updated you on the work of this ministry. Much has been accomplished! I've preached in churches and at events all across the United States, and I was able to go thanks to your generous support. Aside from all of the things that this ministry does, I have good news. We are only $10,000 away from being able to OWN camera equipment suitable for television. I want to thank all of those who have given so much to help us reach this point. We're almost there!

The truth can be scary. The truth is that there are angels, and there are demons. There is a God, and there is a Devil. There is a heaven...there is a Hell. There is a Hell and it is more real than this world- it is more intense. Hell is real, and people are going there every minute. To us, that is enough to cause action.

While we believe that God blesses the giver, we cannot promise how He will bless you or when He will choose to bless you. The one thing that we can promise is this: with your support, we will do whatever it takes to win the lost to Christ. The more support we have, the more we can do. That's it; it's just that simple. There is no gimmick. We will not promise prosperity, because prosperity is not ours to give. We cannot promise anointing, because anointing is not ours to give. But we will take the power and message of God to our generation, and that's all we can promise.

Will you support this great work? Will you help build what the lord is doing? Yes, we believe He'll bless you, but don't do it for the blessing- do it because you love Him. Support this ministry because you love souls. Let your Christianity show in self-less actions.

Saving Our Generation

What is going on with the youth of America? Why does it seem like the church is losing the teenagers and even more so, the young adults? It's because we ARE losing them. While young adult and teen church attendance is slowly but steadily declining, most churches aren't doing a thing to stop it. What's it going to take for the church to wake up? Is our generation beyond hope for revival?

I don't believe all hope is lost, but if we are to see a revival in the youth of the nation then we need to act, and we need to act quickly! If we are to see a revival, it won't be through the fancy "high-tech" church services. It's not going to come through "changing it up". Revival cannot and will not be manufactured through programs, entertainment, media or even glamorous presentations. It's going to come through one thing, and one thing only. It has to come about by the power of the Holy Spirit!

The sad truth is that most churches in America today are too concerned with programs, methods, and the powerless "Prosperity" gospel message. The only thing that will catch my generation's attention is something that is real. We can spot the nots, and we know if something or someone is genuine. We're skeptical of almost everything that is good. What my generation needs is a real power demonstration of the Spirit. And true power can only come from someone who is truly living like Christ.

So what's it going to take? Well, I'll tell you this right now: we can imitate and try to mimic the worldly culture of my generation all we want, but that won't do much damage. We are of a different world- we are citizens of heaven. The church must have a different culture. We need to stop trying to be cool and start trying to be holy. We need to stop trying to attract sinners by imitating their image. The thing that attracted people to Jesus were these two things: the miracles and the messages. These were different than what anybody had ever known! And those things are exactly what is going to attract sinners to Jesus today.

What's it going to take? It's going to take a peculiar people- people who are different than the world. Sinners should not feel comfortable in church- they should feel welcomed and loved but not comfortable. There needs to be an atmosphere, a dimension of the Holy Spirit. His power through holiness is what's going to change lives and nothing else.

The church needs to act, and it needs to act now! No one can do it alone- we must act together. We must all intercede and pursue revival. We must all let His light and His power flow through our lives. We must do it without compromise, and we must do it now. We are called. We are anointed. We are a demonstration generation.

Whether it's a miracle service, a youth revival, a prophetic service, a prayer meeting or a teaching seminar, we meet with one purpose: to encounter God. That is why LFM calls every single one of its events an encounter service. All of our meetings that edify the Church are done with some form of demonstration of power. Why?- Because we like to show off how powerful our God is. So we'll keep you posted on when our next encounter service occurs. We usually only do them twice a year, but as support is raised and demand becomes higher, we will commit to doing them once a month.

PCCF History

Praise Chapel Christian Fellowship was founded by Pastor Mike & Donna Neville in Maywood California in 1976
Praise Chapel is a Family of Fellowships of Churches and Ministries International. It is linked together through relationships that have come out of local churches. Praise Chapel has a vision to evangelize the lost, disciple the Believers and Multiply through Church Planting. The vision is to "Win,Build, and Send".

Praise Chapel began with one church in Maywood, California 1976. Pastors, Mike and Donna Neville, moved to the Los Angeles area from Tulsa, Oklahoma. The culture surrounding the church was strongly gang and drug infested. Within a few years, God began to move in a very special way. Gang members and their families began to be saved. Soon the church was filled with people who were on fire for God. They began to spread the fire into the streets and neighborhoods of the Los Angeles.

Following what God was doing, Mike and Donna began to train pastors and send them out into various areas of Los Angeles to start new churches. God blessed these new pastors and churches as they reached the unsaved, unchurched people.

Today, Praise Chapel Family of Fellowships has multiplied into many areas of the United States and the world. It has over 200 churches in the United States and hundreds more in over 13 nations. What started with one church, had become a Fellowship of churches and now has multiplied into a "Family of Fellowships" all over the world.

Every two years, Praise Chapel Family of Fellowships joins together for a World Bible Conference. Along with this world conference, the various fellowships also have Bible conferences in many places throughout the United States and other Countries.

Praise Chapel is an on-going and growing story, as new churches are being started continually and fellowships of churches continue to develop and increase. It is a book of Acts story being written today.

Praise Chapel has been planting hundreds of churches around the world and continues to do so. The method is simple; win a soul, build a disciple and release the disciple into ministry. This method has been very effective in doing just that. We believe God can use anyone with a willing heart to preach the gospel to the lost. God called men like Peter, who was a fisherman; a man like Thomas, who was greedy tax collector. And He entrusted them with evangelizing the world with the good news. God still does this today. He is looking for willing hearts.

Many couples and individuals have left the comfort of their lives and have begun churches in different cities, states and even nations. It has not been an easy venture, but time has proved that it is all worth the sacrifice. The fruits of labor begin to come forth.

God has done a tremendous work in this fellowship and He continues to raise up individuals who have a stirring and desire to begin a work for God, despite the sacrifice. Is our passion wealth, bigger buildings, greater fame? No. Souls are our passion -pure and simple. We believe the heart of God is souls.

Jesus said to the Apostle Peter, "if you love Me then feed my sheep". The sweetest offering we could pour out on Jesus is a heart broken for the nations. We are excited to see how God will continue to raise up laborers who will have a passion to reach the nations. Jesus did not come to us in the spirit but in the flesh. We believe that the lost deserve the same. They deserve one who will love enough to go in the flesh. Jesus came to sinners in the flesh, and so should we go to sinner in the flesh.
